Former MSG Singer Slams 'Coward' Bassist REV JONES For 'Lying' About Altercation

Legendary guitarist Michael Schenker has posted on his web site the following letter from former MSG frontman Chris Logan:

"Michael,

"It's good to see you've finally come to see the truth about certain people around you. You know that I have been one of the people that has mentioned it to you multiple times in the past.

"I'd like to take this opportunity, now that you are obviously thinking quite clearly, to remind you that...

"...while Bella may have been responsible for 'getting rid of your bass player,' your bass player, James Jones, was responsible for getting rid of your singer... and in the middle of a tour in Stockholm, Sweden, I might add. He has lied to everyone on that tour except to Fransisco (SINCE FRANSISCO WAS THE ONLY PERSON WHO SAW WHAT REV DID TO ME AT THE FRONT OF THE BUS) so that nobody would know what really happened. He attacked me from behind as I went down the stairs of the bus, completely unprovoked, and nearly crushed my throat by choking me half to death in a headlock, while ripping out my hair with his left hand and beating me about the head until I had sustained a mild concussion. I badly chipped one of my teeth while he was pounding on my head with his fist (my teeth came together quite hard),which only complicated matters. He has told everyone a completely fabricated version of events so that nobody would ever know what kind of COWARD he truly is. He's spent his entire life building up his reputation with his looks (tattooed head, body, his hair, etc),and the last thing he wants is for the public at large to know he's nothing more than a poser. He will stoop to any level to keep that from happening, as it appears he already has.

"Let's go through some of the timeline with you and Rev: First, he starts making out with your girlfriend (Amy) ON YOUR OWN TOUR BUS, DURING YOUR OWN TOUR, in front of the entire band and crew, then never once apologizes to you in front of anyone on that tour for disrespecting you in such a way. Then he talked bad about you whenever you weren't around, promising that he would steal all of your guitar equipment as reimbursement for pay if you had decided to cancel any of our tours early (he would make that announcement on the bus during EVERY tour, whenever things got the slightest bit unstable). But you hired him back again. A few tours later, he got rid of your singer quite successfully, me being just another one of the many people whom he's hated for a long time. THEN, as if all THAT wasn't enough, he almost got rid of your drummer as well by lying... that's right... LYING to you, telling you he was speaking for Pete. Lying seems to come quite easy for James Jones.

"Rev has played you just like all the other manipulators have, although not necessarily to the same extent or in the same ways. He has talked bad about you behind your back every time you left the room, the bus, the greenroom, the car... you name it. James was always the one who was ready to quit MSG at the end of whatever tour we happened to be on and never work with you again. About 50% of the times he would get on our bus, during ANY given tour, he'd go straight to your bunk to make sure you weren't there, then go off on one of his tirades about how worthless and horrible you are, blaming you even for things Dave was responsible for. He'd blame anything on you, even if he had to make it up... which he often did. He always talked bad about your fans, too... putting on a nice smiley face for them, 'Mr. Congeniality,' full of fake kindness and good manners, then he would talk about what worthless, lifeless losers they all were once we got back on the bus. After sound check, he'd sit on the bus behind the tinted windows and pick them all out of the ticket line, one by one, giving them all sorts of hateful, derogatory labels. And if they weren't white people, then he'd add all of his hateful, evil 'white pride' racism into the mix and comment on their color or race. 'Surprised you've been working with a hardcore racist whom hates you, all your fans and anyone who isn't white?? Manipulators and liars come in all shapes and sizes. Live and learn, Michael...

"Please remember... the only time I ever really got into it with you was at that festival in Spain, after the show, when I was completely unaware that you had followed the plan and that I was the one who fucked up. I thought you had totally left me and the band on stage to look like idiots while you went off on another one of your well known rampages, ending the set early... and I was pretty angry about it. But once I was put in my place and notified that I was in the wrong, I apologized and everything was great henceforth. We've never had any more problems between us, and that's a pretty good track record for you and any MSG singer, you have to admit. I've always thought we got along pretty well.

"I have tried to tell you before, but I don't know if the emails ever got to you, that I would have kept on playing on that European tour if I had been able to sing, but my throat was crushed and damaged to the point that I couldn't even swallow for 2 weeks due to Rev's cowardly attack. My departure from that tour points directly back to James Jones, and to some extent Dave Ungar. They both support each other's lies about that night. Dave claims I hit him, while, interestingly enough, none of the 6 or 7 people who were standing right there in the middle of it can support his claim. It's like they all went blind for a split second while I socked him, or as Rev puts it in his interview, the entire time they were holding Dave back and letting me pound on him. What kind of friends would hold Dave back so that I could sucker punch him, totally letting me alone and failing to hold me back?? If none of that makes any sense, there's a really good reason: It's all lies.
